This painting has been juried into California Art Club Virtual Exhibition "Welcome to California". I am one of the participating artists in this display, which spotlights nearly 300 images of the land and lifestyle of the Golden State.
Welcome to California will feature small works of iconic images of the Golden State, from pristine landscapes and seascapes to figurative works and still lifes. The exhibition will unveil on Sunday, November 29th at https://californiaartclub.org/welcome.
The historic Japanese garden at The Huntington, with its distinctive moon bridge, is a magical place, intimate and inspiring. I strived to reflect my feeling of tranquility, magic, and beauty of it onto canvas.
